Linksys' WCF12 is probably the best CompactFlash WiFi card I have seen, and it's the least expensive MSRP I've seen, too, at $79. You could probably find it for $55 online. NetGear's CF WiFi card was on sale at CostCo for $19 not too long ago. For good prices you might want to check out . That's where I find all the good prices.

There is no special service needed because you own and operate the WiFi Radio Signal, Equipement, and Hardware, although it's seamless, plug and play, and manages itself without you ever having to touch the settings. That's why they call it Proximity and Play. No special service, but you of course need the software.

All WiFi is pretty much the same. Some cards waver in the range they provide or the power they consume. I think CostCo's deal is over, too. Check out costco.com to see.
