This page has a small Pi calculating utility and also compile a list of calculation speed. It still has some gap for the latest machines. put yours in. It will be interesting to see, if not just for the amusement value.

I put my dinky h1910 number in over there.

200mHz 1K d.p. 1159 ms 10K d.p. 106805 ms
300mHz 1K d.p. 817ms 10K d.p. 71260 ms

what's interesting according to this number my h1910 at 200mHz is faster than my Libretto 50c. (75mHz pentium) wow! Now someone explain to me why the pocket IE is so damned slow compared to the ever so bloated netscape 4.1 running on pentium75?

yeah yeah...RISC, CISC... but my PPC is just too slow dammit!

I love my hp1910.

What way are you using to calculate Pi? 1/3+1/5+1/7 etc?

Dunno, have to ask the guy. I only check the Pi result to 6 digits. They are all correct :P

but somebody apparently check to 200 places. (I think you can download a Pi file to half million place somewhere ..)

at anyrate, whatever system he is using seems to produce first 6 digit of Pi correctly. (I know it's not answering your question but I want to post something)
