get the iPAQ39xx. the axim advanced (i think u are saying Axim X5 400Mhz) is slow to play movies. some benchmarks for ppl with them just here:

I used the 320x240 version for testing.

I also played both using the same SD Sandisk 256 MHz card.

Axim 400 running at 498 MHz
Dropped: 2597
Played: 4212
Total: 4212
Avg FPS: 11.51

h1910 running at 300 MHz turbo
Dropped: 2639
Played: 4188
Total: 6150
Avg FPS: 11.10

h1910 running at 300 MHz normal
Dropped: 1959
Played 4196
Total: 6150
Avg FPS: 15.99

300 MHz normal on the h1910 is awesom. I don't know how safe it is in the long run though
I am not sure why the totals were different though.
