scummvm for pocketpc does not exit

Questions (possibly stupid):
1. emulation for all games I own (like simon 1 for dos) is fine under scummvm for pocketpc, except zak (16 colors for dos), which is not detected at all. I thought this was supported, even if not playable?
2. When running pocketscumm, there is no button or key combination which allows me to exit / stop scummvm. I need to reboot (reset) my pocketpc. Is this behaviour expected or am I doing something wrong?

It seems I did not know the half of it when I first posted my questions: in fact, I cannot get any sort of keyboard, save/load/exit or any other dialog, while in a game. Having read a few posts in some of the other forums, it seems something is seriously wrong.

BTW I am using a Medion PPC and I have the very latest pocketpc scummvm binary build.
