How about making a screen tap&hold an equivalent of right mouse click, and leaving the left mouse click as it is now - just a simple tap?

Doesn't the 54x series need a hi-res patch to make use of the full colour range? Otherwise it's 256 Colours default.

Note that on older iPAQ models (12Bit as well) the colours look nothing like they should do, it's the same for other 12 and 8Bit PPCs, whether they work or not.

you can run 16bit colour games on the 545 - its just a hardware problem that makes it 12bit. or something. so it shouldnt be a problem to make it?

Note that the above is especially apparent in DOTT, which is one of the more recent titles and makes good use of shades.

when will you release the new version that has the sound and right mouse support? Also now that it supports sound can we put all our games in their own seperate sub folders under the pocketscumm exe or what?

Hrm....

Well, in terms of GAPI - if it's kfDirect565 or kfDirect555 you're okay.

There's some very preliminary support for kfPalette, but it's untested.
