My hair has been long for about 19 years now (I am 32)- I've never learned to "comb" my hair on a daily basis so even if it was short it would probably end up looking like Jasons.

Initially, I grew it out because I was fascinated with the Native American hairstyles, and my short hair always looked like crap anyway.

For the last 10 years its been kept in back in a ponytail- it keeps it out of my way. The sides are shaved (to the skin) and fully extended I would have about a 20" mohawk. Its not technically a "mullet", but was cut that way to eliminate 2/3 of the mass and keep me from overheating.

Sound weird yet? How about the fact that I have worn a short beard/moustache for the last 3 years.

Now how many of you pictured me looking like that?
