Actually, eVB does not suck. Granted, while it's kinda puny for writing large, poweful apps, if all you want to do is code a little picture viewer, registry editor, etc then it's MUCH quicker than using eVC++. I've programmed for about 6 years, but I've spent the last 5 months getting back into it (mainly PPC stuff) after not doing anything for nearly 2 years, and eVB was pretty useful to start again with. In fact, i have 2 versions of my horizontal shooter - one written in eVB to test ideas, and an eVC version which evolved from it.
Obvious eVC still rules, but that don't mean eVB is useless. It's also good for beginners, and i've seen quite a few things that easily surpass things coded in eVC! If ya want, I'll show ya!
