I was blowing up snails in the middle of class and had to pause the game so i shot the other guy, went to the menu and pressed "Pause game." When i went back to the game and unpaused it i had to wait for 40 seconds before my moving phase was over. It was annoying, but i can do that whenever i want to make it easier to hide before the other team can move.
If you want to try it you have to shoot a guy and before it says "RUN!!!" go to pause game and when you unpause it you will have the amount of time you had left to run around and get in a good spot.
