What browser do you use? I just tried logging in with Internet Explorer 6 and a username/password box comes up.

I use IE6 with all the latest security patches.

So you have been able to log in with the same software I use.

I'm going to have to check my settings in IE.

Very strange you are not getting a username/pass popup. If it's still not working try this out:

http://xxxxxx:yyyyyy@www.syntact.fi/~pb ... s/members/

where xxxxxx is your username and yyyyyy is your password.

Um, if you ever try to get into a site about 30 times with the wrong user/pass combo, the popup box will no longer appear for that site.

heh, didn't know that, sounds reasonable otherwise any idiot could bruteforce his way in there. Anyways, try mailing your infos to syntact... and prepare to wait a couple of years before they respond :P
