I've uploaded the library (pf 0_6_0) with my extensions (sound and font).
I've also put a little precompiled test prog so... you have to test it !
It isn't my best piece of oop programming but it works (I hope)...

I have found the bug(s) .
The sound engine works now on the ppc 2k2 emulator so it should work on pda too. The problem was on the sound update routine (the thread function)...
I have uploaded the new lib and test files so please test it (and/or debug ). byez

Now works fine on my two device, except a little bug on the e570, during the demo if I switch off the device and switch it on, the music doesn't resume.
Performance on Toshiba e740 (don't worry about this bullshit device): 39fps and 25 when I move.
On Toshiba e570: 85fps and 75 when I move.

The sounds that come with the samples work fine, but I can't make any WAVs that will play. What are the requirements?
