due to time constraints I cannot give the HAL a try just yet. Once it reaches the point of working with PF I will take a look.

This is excellent! Just the kind of game library I've been wanting. Supa-fly fast that supports the GDI.

Keep up the awesome work Thierry!

Thierry,

I'm in the process of porting some demo code to the new environment, but what happened to the Game class?
is there an alternative, I have to get rid of my GameLoop somewhere?
I must have overlooked something, but can't find how to hook up the loop.

regards, Joost

 of course (stupid question from my side ),
I can still continue the port of the demo since I was writing pixels directly in the backbuffer, I didn't use any of the pfrog blitting functions. It should not be that hard to get it running directly on PocketHal.
I'll post it as soon as it's ready

This HAL was precisely what I was waiting for :-)

I didn't have time nor access to all required devices to implement this myself and on the other hand, while I like GapiDraw, I didn't like its "pre-rotated surfaces" approach since it severely limits performance of custom renderers ( or alternatively forces people to write rotation aware code.).

Frankly, since I already have my own code for various blitters ( written in ARM asm for Sharp Zaurus devices) I don?t really need ?the Frog? part of the library.
HAL is all I need :-)

Great work.
