Is PocketHAL much faster than GAPI?
Posted: Nov 8, 2006 @ 8:55pmOn multiple places I have read that PocketHAL is much faster than GAPI.. I am ready to use GapiDraw, and I saw very nice pictures of GapiDraw games, but, I am aware of competition of mobile game developers. The fact that PocketHAL video access is much faster than GAPI makes me hesitating, if it is not worth of going in PocketHAL direction and making up my PocketHAL based graphics library I have used extensively so far.
Where GAPI stands in contrast of PocketHAL please, assuming, the same blit routines would be used to move the same amount of data to video screen using by GAPI and by PocketHAL?
