Testing on new hardware (LOOX, H39 etc)?

I am interested both in what new x-scale devices PocketFrog has been tried on and also which devices seem to be selling most. Any information would be useful.

I have already bought one test device this year and plan to buy 2 more during the next 9 months assuming the new OS is out within that time. Currently the FS Pocket LOOX seems to be getting lots of good press over the iPaq partly on price.

I am also intending to look into the capabilities of the Sendo & similar phones once they are out. I know the Sendo has 16Mb and has GAPI support but no touch screen and a smaller display but if they sell well I may get one & do a port.

I could make some test for you if you want.
Currently i have a Toshiba e570 and my brother buy a Toshiba e740 for me and send me (i receive it in 2 or 3 days).
So if you want i could compare your program on these two devices.

I found this on brightland forum, it's a comparison between some xScale and StrongARM device.

The Plasma and Blit sample works fine on my Toshiba e570. I get a frame rate between 105-109 for the blit sample.
I get my e740 in one week and I give you the result after.

Sorry for the delay, I receive my e740 this weekend.
I try with PocketFrog 0.5.3 and 0.6.0 results are the same.

The Blit sample:
e570: 105-109
e740: 43-48
The Rotate sample:
e570: 74-78
e740: 41-47

I hope Toshiba post quickly a new rom with the support of the ATI graphic chipset build in the e740.
I ask to a friend to try this two sample on it's iPaq 3970, so I'll be back.

New result:

The Blit sample:
Toshiba e570: 105-109
Toshiba e740: 43-48
iPaq 3970: 83-93

The Rotate sample:
Toshiba e570: 74-78
Toshiba e740: 41-47
iPaq 3970: 89-90

Now it's time to create a x-Scale (and e740) optimized version
