Your points are completely understandable Johan. I just hope that you can have separate licensing costs for those who just wanted to purchase the symbian and not the other platform versions and vice versa. Another suggestion is to adapt the FMOD licensing scheme, they have developer-friendly rates for those who are just hobbyists w/c are completely different for commercial licenses. Based from what you said, I got the impression that gd 3.0 will cost a bit steep for small developers like me. But anyway, I'll wait for the actual costs before I make any other assumptions.
