I guess they are selling less commercial licenses then they thought they were going to.

Indeed sad news. I understand the reasoning, and I certainly appreciate your openness in explaining the situation rather than just raising the price one day. It is unfortunate new though to be sure.

denthorq: I hope to have the payment receipt by today.. :)

Unfortunately not everyone pays $100 + $45. In fact, most current licensees have brought $100 to the bank and then simply let the bank take their charge from those money. With us ending up with $55.

There are actually several licensees who bought the pro license instead of the hobbyist version simply because the charges from the bank were almost 50% of the requested amount (despite the fact that they legally could use the hobbyist license).

If the price for the hobbyist license is raised I'll post information on the forum and on the web before the price is raised, so that those of you that are in active development know beforehand.

Hi!

I think that paypal is not that expensive. As i know they take 2.5% for payments transferred to a paypal account and they have charged me 1$ for transfering the account balance to my bank account (paypal has accounts in different countries, therefor the costs for transfering money to the users bank account are not high).
One option could be to contact the credit card companies directly. This is, as i know, the cheapest possibility. I think most developers are able to pay with credit card.
