Failed Initializing DirectDraw. Only 16 bit and 32 bit displays are supoprted in windowed mode...

Anyone ever seen this? or know what would cause it? Or how to fix it or workaround it?

I have not tried on anything other than a 32-bit display mode.

What is the error code? Can you please provide more information about the failure.

Do you use an old Windows version and driver at 24 bit depth? That does not work. Try Windows XP at 16 or 32-bit depth.
