The last version did. I haven't had time to try the new version yet. Unfortunately though you'll never see much above 15FPS thanks to the crappy memory bus in the 540.

Yes, it does work on the 540 series. I have a 548 and it works fine, it is a little slow sometimes but if you dont have a ton of sprites most things are playable(Its what I develop on).
