well, its not necessarily BETTER. Certainly the choice of three completely different races in Strcraft brought that game to the forefront of RTS. And it will always remain a classic example of an nearly perfect RTS.

I was just saying that I'd like to see AG pull through all the crap, and be released ASAP.

If Blizzard ever got their ass in gear and decided to port StarCraft (or even Warcraft) to the Pocket PC, I predict that all other native RTSs are going to be lost in the dust. The only real competitor would be AG. Obviously there is a huge demand for this type of game.

<PLUGS EARS> STRACRAFT ON PPC WOULD BE A ABOMANATION, jsut like starcraft was abomanation to RTS on pc..... one word myth, if you dont own it...go get 10 dollars and BUY IT...such zen..., soory had to get that out :lol:

as far as which gamesa aught to be ported, theres one game i havent seen any ention of that was jsut as if not more popular as quake and has the source code relesed...and woulkd run at least 25fps on a PPC. MARATHON!!!!!!! the demo data files are 8 megs, with no modification, the source is out, and its sprite based and will run on 7 year old hardware just fine. not to mention the # of ppc's it would sell, check out bungie.org and observe the cult follwing it posseses, it would be the first truely playable (quake one was a so-so [NOT TO SAY THQAT WHAT DAN DID WAWS ANYTHING LESS THAN AMAZEIGN!!!!!!])
1st person shooter on the pocket pc, this deserves serious attention....maybe i should talk to dan about this would only take hium lieko 2 hours:) if you havent ever played marathon, go download the open source version, itss the greatest 1st person shooter of all time in nmy humble opinion:) http://source.bungie.org/

ya caught me:) heres how i see it, 15 mins jsut to get teh code executeing on a ppc, 2 hours to make a useable interface:) go dlaod marathon, http://source.bungie.org and see what imn talking about;)
