I would like to know how many frames you are getting in the Simple.ppl and Simple2.ppl demos.
Make sure you keep the Simple2.ppl at it's default location (not moving the screen around with the arrows.)
My system:
Asus A620 @ 400 Mhz
Simple.ppl = 130 - 144 FPS
Simple2.ppl = 61 - 64 FPS
Regards,
Kornalius

I just re-tested with 0.4b, and it is faster like you suggested...
simple1: 50 fps
simple2: 31 fps
It was 45/25 before.
One bug though, It seems like simple3 doesn't initialize the screen correctly until the first stylus press. The top portion of the screeen (sometimes just a few lines, sometimes a 1/4 of the screen) stays white, obscuring the text, until I use the stylus.
Wait, 2 bugs, simple2 exits after running for a while. I see nothing in the code that would make it exit after a certain amount of time. I assume it's a bug as well, but I can't see any errors.
