I decided to leave the SpeedX and SpeedY after all. There are three alternatives to moving sprites around.
1. MoveSprite(sprite, x, y);
2. SetSpriteSpeedX(sprite, speed); SetSpriteSpeedY(sprite, speed);
3. SetSpriteDirection(sprite, angle); SetSpriteVelocity(sprite, speed);
I am working with sprite's weight and elasticity right now. It is almost working, not perfect but it gives a good idea of the physic I want to implement. I is very basic at this point. If somebody has experience with this kind of stuff I would love to get some help.
