Hi Kornalius,

I hereby requesting for color coding on the device too, (like the IDE).
Also, the PPL IDE on the desktop doesn't support and color coded printing yet. Any reasons?

Well, that's pity. Would really improve the reading on the device.

I tested the code print on two different color lasers, a Xerox and a Canon, both were black and white outputs, but the colored code was printed in bold letters.

Sorry guys,

I have to say no sometimes. ;) I have a lot of other things to do. I don't have the knowledge really to do something like this that will be fast enough on the PPC. If somebody wants to help (aka bmanske) I would be more than happy to assist.

POL,

For the most part, I agree with you. Some type of RTF or Rich Edit control is needed to make the job easy. Without it doing this may be difficult and as Kornalius pointed out... slow.

There are a few good articles on the subject at CodeProject.com. I haven't looked around yet, but I was hoping to find some kind of suitable control or an extension to the edit control that would help simplify the job. If I come across anything I'll let you know.

Users hoping for this feature,

The trend is for more screen resolution and faster processors. As more PPCs migrate to VGA and speed becomes less an issue, there will be more and more incentive to do this to increase productivity. It will happen; it's just a matter of time.

Kornalius,

Don't feel bad about saying "no" to some of these requests. I'd rather see you stick to your business plan and not suffer from feature creep caused by my dreams of the perfect environment. PPL is still in it's infantcy and over time the User Base will help make the Dreams Come True.

Wow, I didn't mean to make the above sound like I was writing the ending to Cinderella. :)

B.
