Yer not gonna need .NET just yet really. Most people use eVC3 (and eVC4 if you want to compile for WM2003 OSes but won't be backward compatible). One of the reasons for using eVC3 is if you can compile it for PPC2002 or even PPC2000 it should work in 2003, though there are plenty of exceptions to that rule. If you compile exclusively for the latest OS, you rule out potential customers that are content with their slightly older PPC model. Many devs will compile two versions if they find a problem in 2003 PPCs where there may be none in 2002.
