hmmm, strange. I'm sure PIE uses it, and every 38xx device has that installed in rom, right?

I thought so too.. I guess I've scanned the Windows folder 1000 times by now..

I did scan on my desktop, so it's not a "DLL hiding" trick either. And Pocket IE works on the same IPAQ, I tested that as well. And I have tried resetting...

Ok.. Apparently it has the file but it's hidden.. Somewhere...

You may try using to see if it lists that file.
