Use USB devices on Pocket Pc's need help developing.........

I need help to develop some software, i would like to take one of those cradles that is just the wire, a female to female usb adapter (AKA sex changer), and usb a keyboard or other usb device. the only problem is drivers, i need someone to help develop drivers, if a usb option was enabled on pocket pc's jsut think of all the possibilities

Hardware would need some work to but that is easier, this would work on so many different pocket pc's :D

female to female... whatever it is, sounds good to me :)

But honestly, though, that would be awesome... think of all the stuff we could use... gamepads, plug-in HDs (!), etc...

if you want USB just get an e740 or Casio E-200 they have USB-Host built in. And not all pocketpcs would work the way you want it too, the IPaqs wouldnt, and nor would many other ones, in fact i dont even think it would work AT ALL.

From and Engeneering standpoint it actually is in the realm of possibility, BUT you probably would have to write a specific driver for each device. I am not to familiar with writing drivers for WinCE, so I woulden't be a ton of help.

I don't think you can have USB Host support at all unless your device has a USB Host controller like the SA-1111 that was used on some StrongARM designs.
