Handango new look.

And you thought PocketMatrix was blue, Handango Preview.

I don't like the new platform based focus. If people have a PocketPC ARM based computer it should have a reasonable chance of running a demo. If it runs the demo it should be fine. Nobody can test 150 devices.

Hard work does deserve respect. :D

Well the fact of the matter is this. Jaybot brought up this good point. If someone asks you, "What Pocket PC do you have?" or "What PDA do you have?" or "What mobile phone do you have?"

You'll prolly answer with a specific model # I'm sure.

But the average joe, they'll say "The black one". or "I have a Dell". or "i'd have to look it up".

It's true and I agree. You and I and everyone else here knows how ignorant people can be (no offense to anyone reading this). And anyone doing Tech Support for anything computer related.

So, if you give the customer a picture that matches their device. They're bound to be able to pick the right one then. And be able to find the software without going...."Hmm, will this work on my PDA? This is my first PDA."

Either way, I don't think it hurts the people that know what they are looking for.

:)

There are no pictures. The main picture is the Logo the words PocketPC appear on all my PocketPCs which helps if you have a Yakumo Omikron.

I take your point but OS can be upgraded, what it was is not always what it is. Wouldn't a better system be to teach the flavours of PocketPC and Handango write a program to do the detection. Instead of teaching that all computers are different. Which is a trick to get users who buy another computer to pay for the software again, unlike the fair use policy clickgamer teach.

If they are going to go the specific device way, they need a more comprehensive list. The last time I checked (a few days ago), they didn't even include Asus as a manufacturer.

It does have pictures of the models after you select the manufacturer. It also still has the oldskool way of just selecting the OS directly under it.

This really isn't all the complicated folks. ;)
