I am only too aware of the amount of work required.
The project may not see the light of day. How many projects do? But I wouldn't give up after two weeks unless I came upon a brick wall.
The game would use pre-renderd scenes. This may present a storge space problem. But then unless you have a 525 and no storage card, I haven't heard too much whinging about the 8mb+ (+Ram) required for PQ.
It does mean graphics could be created by rendering them in 3DSMax. Im reasonably good at 3d modeling.
While I have used Resi-evil as an example, the game will not be a clone or a port. There are a good few gameplay ideas that will not draw from existing games of the genre.
What if everything is an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I definitely overpaid for my carpet. -Woody Allen
