Plugins for PIE

Plugins for PIE

Is it possible to write "plug-ins" for Pocket IE? I mean to add certain functions to it, example junk stuff like View Source and crap like that?

You could subclass the PIE window and override the context menu...would be pretty sweet. But that isn't really a plugin.

what you want is a "browser helper object", or BHO. It is a COM DLL thing that attaches to the IE when its started and allows access to its interfaces so you can pretty much everything with it from your own code.
I just dont know if the pocketIE has this functionality too. You can find out more by searching for BHO or "browser helper object" in the MSDN.

NICE FUCKING POST!
I never even heard of the BHO before, but just went and looked it up. Passed it along to all the developers that work at my co. This would have saved many hours of work in the past.

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC...but I figure its a dead thread anyway.

My friend is Polish, and his wife is Russian, so she teaches me sometimes. I don't know a lot, but I can hold a brief conversations. She says I have no American accent, that I sound like I am from the Ukrain.

I trained my dog in Russia...it is pretty funny watching people say "come here" and he looks at them funny...and I have to say "idi suda" for him to respond. My friends wife calls him Maximka and talks all cute to him in Russian...he loves it.
