). A "for customers, by developers" site would be good for the scene as a whole, I believe.
The problem is, really, that if it's just a kind of link-fest to other sites then there's nothing to draw people to the site, or at least nothing to separate itself from a site like PocketGamer (and would probably
compete with them, in actual fact).
The other problem, of course, is that of management - who gets to decide which game is at the top of the page, or how many front-page items each developer gets, etc. Working out that sort of thing will be a fine balancing act.
Anyway, ignoring my innate cynicism, how about we discuss the particular needs for the site, and then we'll know what to aim for?
