No you need a DynaRec (Dynamic Recompiler) to ARM assembler to make it run fullspeed, not simply ARM assembler on it's own - see Neil's site for info on DynaRec theory: http://www.dynarec.com/

those dynamic recompilation ideas, look awfully similiar to what i was orginally planning on doing when i coded my emulator, translate the R3000A code into ARM code, and execture that, instead of an interpreter...
