Dunno if it you've grasped the prob now, but you can find a concise explaination (along with other PPC bugs) at:

T1, I will name my next child after you! T1 Zammetti has a nice ring to it!

Seriously, thank you so much for that, I was completely unaware of that page and that info there is so clear and concise! It's nice to know I did actually get what the problem was and how to get around it, but that just dumps all the details in my lap, I certianly like not being able to think on occassion!

Thanks again, that was unbelievably helpful!

Geez guys, I apologize for that. I'm having some sort of network issue (or PocketMatrix is, not sure which, although this is the only site I'm having trouble with, so...). I got DNS errors every time Ihit Submit, so I assumed it wasn't posting. Sorry! (Anyone tell me where the delete button is? I clicked the edit/delete button, but I don't see an option to delete).

Lots of people have been having that problem recently, so it's not just you. As for the delete thing, I think you can only delete a post under specific conditions, and I'm not quite sure what they are.

You can only delete if nobody has replied to your post, IIRC (and if the admin has left "delete" enabled)..

Babylon 5 DVDs? Really? When? I thought they'd never do it. :)
(Sorry to post that here, but I wasn't sure if fzammetti read the other forums :))

Refractor: Good idea posting here, I generally only look at the developer's forum regularly. They are coming out "this fall", no more specific date has been said (JMS did himself confirm they are finally being released though, so it's just a matter of exactly when).

Thanks for the SH3 test TechMage. I suspected SH3 was going to have pretty crappy numbers. I'm tempted to just say no SH3 support, but I won't go to that extreme just yet.

I'm just about ready to put out an updated test program that implements buffering and that should, I think, deal with the 38xx series properly as well. I'll start a new thread once it's ready, hopefully I can get all the same people to try it out, that would be a big help. I'm also going to put up on my site screenshots of what it's supposed to look like, that should make it easier to tell when there are problems.

Thanks all, I've learned quite a bit over the past 24 hours, I couldn't have done it without you all!

(It's amazing, it didn't occur to me until a few minutes ago... I've been programming in some form for over 20 years, but it wasn't until last year that I touched C for the first time, believe it or not! Writing this library has been one hell of a learning experience, which was one of my reasons for doing it rather than picking one of the great libraries available already, and you guys have all been a big help in that!)
