BAH! You should have a death metal soundtrack :P

Bit too late with the racing in Argentum engine *cough MSR cough* :P I think it would be suited for an RPG/Action RPG type game, just add buildings.

Hi,

Appologies for the anonymous post previous, I didnt realise that I wasnt logged in, DOH!

Ok, a 12k 'scene' is not that great, between 800-1200 polys are drawn from the octree results every frame, and around 500 for the ship, so total draw per frame is ~1700, this includes texturing, lighting, and any blending thats done. Theres some other tricks in there to keep things speedy, but I aint gunna annouce what they are just yet! :)

circa 20 on an sh3, worst Iv had so far is 13fps, that was with a lot of objects filling up the screen and overdraw went a bit nuts, but on average 18-21fps.

I'll upload some shot to www today (cant figure how to put em in here) and post the urls a little later.

Comments and suggestions etc are welcome, but please remember its still VERY much pre alpha! :)
