Feedback on x86 emulator

Unfortunately, the x86 emulator will be more of a novelty. Perhaps after everything is fine tuned it would actually be useful. The problems will be the difficulty getting things into / out of the drive image, some sort of rotated onscreen keyboard, the inability to natively support resolutions over 320x240, and slow speed.

Pocket Wolf3D only took me 3 days to port, runs full-speed, and is completely usable. :)

Dan East

Mips has big problems. It gets though a few splash screens and credits and then crashes HARD right before the menu.

It really needs to be debugged on the MIPS device, unfortunately. :(

Well, you could find some computer store that has it sitting on a dusty shelf, find someone willing to sell their copy to you used, or you could go to... (come on, do I really need to tell you? I would just get this post edited. Look in the obvious places, and think about the movie The Matrix.), but that would be dishonest, even though it is basically abandonware now.
Die, Palm, Die. If that offended you, then get rid of your Palm OS device.

Hey Dan you ported it in three days? I thought this was almost an impossible port due to the amount of assembly conversion, how did you do it so fast?

Dan based it on code from an xWindows port which already had all of the asm to c conversion finished. This was apparently the "hardest part"
