PIE Question

Anyone know how to get anchor tags to allow you to jump to another place in the current document using a named anchor? The following doesn't work:<br><br>[fixed]<a href="#somePlace">Click Here</a><br><br>Blah blah blah<br><br><a name="somePlace"></a>[/fixed]<br><br>All that does is reload the page when the link is clicked. The same document works fine under IE 5.5 / 6.0.<br><br>Dan East<br><br>

try changing <a name="somePlace"></a> to <a name="somePlace"> </a>

I remember something about a PIE bug with anchors.<br>I think if the path to the html file has spaces in it (eg. \My Documents\blah.htm), the achor won't work. Instead, put the html file in a folder without spaces (eg. "\Windows" or the root of the device.<br><br>...lemme just make sure if this is true on my device...<br><br>yep, it is

you could get around that by replacing spaces with %20
