I'm wondering if since Handango keeps track of your purchases can you redownload a product you already paid for? For instance an update or patch.

I'm considering some possible solutions to patch related issues, if users can redownload, then I don't need to do anything special except update the software at Handango. Same goes for PocketGear and the other online distributors?

Yes. Just upload the updated version of your SW and registered users can re-dowload the file using their Handango account.
