XScale blitting
Posted: Jul 15, 2003 @ 5:01pmI have conducted some tests yesterday and the GAPI performances of the iPAQ 2200 are pretty lame. Where I get 101 FPS on my Maestro (ARM-206), I get 51 FPS on my HP2210.
I would guess it uses some video chip (MediaQ or something else). I will have to investigate further to determine if this is indeed the case.
Anyone has experiences to share about using GAPI efficiently on the XScale device? I couldn't find much on the net. The only thing I found was to use "ldrd/strd" instead of your usual "LDM/STM" instructions.
