Do I have to include MFC to be able to use the ppc registry?

If I do use MFC, are there any negative effects for my game?

I have tried using VORegistry which I found at but that definatley requires MFC and I haven't yet successfully managed to add them to my game.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, please pardon my noobiness

No, you certainly do not have to use MFC to work with the Registry.
