SourceForge is not what I am looking for; I don't want to expand or improve the current game. I was hoping that a couple of 'mods' would start with the current source code as a basis. Perhaps a simultaneous development on that 'basis' is a good idea, but I doubt that anyone will be interested in that. Mods are much simpler; once you are familiar with the concepts and data you could generate a 20 room 'floor' on a Saturday, I guess. I think that some guys with huge artistic potential can have a lot of game coding fun this way.

Besides that I was hoping that some artists would sink their teeth in my lousy programmer art; there's definitely room for improvement there.

On the art side, some coding wouldn't hurt either btw: All sprites are rendered in max (note to self: Do not forget to include max files), but they do not use alpha masks. Adding that is a piece of cake. It will add quite a bit to the data, but that's OK, the game is not that huge. It will seriously improve the rendering of especially the main character. This kind of coding could be done by me or any intermediate coder. You see, I just want to provide a platform for coders that don't want to do an entire game (4 months worth of coding) but still want rewarding results.

About a forum: I think it's too early for that. Let's see what happens on this forum first before we dedicate a forum to one game.

ppcStudios: Is it OK if I send you some files in the afternoon? The source package should be finalized by then, and the game package already is final (will put it up in an hour or so on my own page and Handango - Just get the 'demo' ;) ). Docs will be available separately (probably from my own server, http://www.bik5.com ).

- Jacco.

Jacco, I sent you a PM concerning the file transfers. I should have everything setup for downloads in a day or two. -- GR

Rapture engine

Had a look at the Rapture engine demo. Reminds me of the one I wrote for PC except my water was animated. Will it deal with objects bigger than one diamond?

(Sorry to go off topic, must have a look at the Nutcracker source sometime.)
