I knoiw it can be done because I have seen the article. But i can't find it now!

I don't think you can do that. But pretty please with sugar on top, prove me wrong as I'd love to :-)

It can be down. I have done it myself in the past (yeti was compiled with evc4 to run on ppc2000). But I lost the article telling me how to do it...

However now I have found that evc3 gives faster executables so there is no longer a pressing need.

Ok, the post said you don't actually have to install it though if you can get a copy of the required binaries. Actually, it's the other way around I think.
