If you ask in a Linux newsgroup you could probably fix what you have. You need someone who made the same mistake as you who also codes for PocketPC, OBSCURE.

But I assume you have downloaded the bits for Linux as bits. Which is a bad idea for your first build. Get a cheap CD set that claims to install easily.

Are you using KDevelop? I believe there was a bug in KDevelop 2.x autoconf/makefile generation that required changed to an .m4 file to fix. If that's the case, I'd say upgrade to KDevelop 3. It's much more refined.
