Hello!

I have question about using bluetooth in ppc applications.

Is it true that one have to use the famous WidComm SDK to be able to use BT ??
What about other ppc that were not manufactured by HP ? Do they use the same WidComm SDK ?

HP Ipaq actually released an sdk to help you create Blue Tooth applications. You don't need to pay for application out there.

I'll look around for the development kit. I remember I had to register on to get it. The registration just asked for my name and the usual information and the download was free.

Sorry about the confusion on the SDK. It only has a few calls you can make to the bluetooth devices, but it does have some useful calls. The problem with the SDK is that it only works with the ipaq machines.

Here is the link to sign up for it though:

You just have to register and you can download a bunch of files and SDK's for the ipaq.[/url]

Free?
