I'm pretty user Microsoft owns (and reserves) all rights. I remember several years ago (around a decade ago?) big news that Microsoft had purchased the rights to hundres of thousands of pieces of art / photography / icons / etc. It was a pretty big deal at the time for them to be sucking up so many property rights at once.
