just pick a code that is nearest. i don't think doing it by hand will help you out, unless you plan to ignore the 1099 which you could do in the software. try doing some google searches for 1099 and taxes or whatever. maybe throw in the word freelancer possibly. maybe something like this web page:

you may be able to deduct more than you think but may be more of a bother unless you learn how to do it right.
