Just to make it clear here, too:

I got my responds even from PPC-Gaming-site admins (such as those from PDAGround.com), so not only "business users" (in fact only one) and they all criticised the game (and since the game was also a news on PocketGamer.com, it is not about my contacts at all that there is no feedback  )
I personally like it very much but I also see that the PPC-gaming-scene seems to have a "sudden death". We'll see if it's true which would be really sad.
I wrote in forums and asked users who suddenly were a bit astonished about this post here, that they should give feedback!

Hope this might help a little bit.

By the way "sterile" was the word an other beta-tester used.

Ps.: Since the NDS-Scene is really interesting, our team started http://www.ndsgaming.de/ for German users. If there are somewhen beta-testers needed for a DS-port, we would be honoured

Greetings

Michel,

It was not my intention to criticise your contacts (or choice of testers), I was just a bit surprised about the kind of feedback. As you mentioned that people probably where comparing it to PC games, I concluded (too quickly, obviously) that these guys where not regular PPC game players. Also the remark about the lack of spinning wheels seemed rather strange. I mean, adding spinning wheels is not going to make a badly designed game good. :)

But if the 'sudden death' of the PPC gaming community (caused by WM5.0?) is to blame, I can live with that. I will just make a kick-ass game, broaden my audience (Zodiac, Palm, Symbian) and release it nevertheless. I just miss the vivid discussions that I had when I released EasyCE, Lemmings, AliCE and Nutcracker.

Nutcracker
