Porting from Qbasic to EVB/Vbscript...

Postby Thursday » Jan 28, 2002 @ 3:32am

THere is this really fun old basic game i liked called Skate made by Nicolas Culberson, its really a fun sidescrolling skate game. And i was wondering in all your wisdom, if any of you developers could kinda point me in the direction of how to port from basic to evb, or even better the new Vbscript based Gamewrite compiler? The code looks almost identical, and i was figuring maybe all i would have to do is fix the function calls and stuff. I do know my way around Qbasic, and i know VB so i wanted to know if you all thought it would be possible?

well soon as i refind the source, and the compiler i'm gonna use is that Gamewrite thing, cause its probably the easiest to use. I'm no coding master, so if it works at all i'll be happy.
