Bonjour!

I am looking for a programmer, and possibly a graphics artist, to help me with my new surefire hit.
It is like a racing/maza game, but it uses "on-ice" type gravity momentum. please contacti if interested at magicdude88@yahoo.com

Cheers,
David, M.D. (Magic Dude)

Question: Are you planning to pay the programmers/artists for their work on a contractor basis, or merely offering them a portion of any profits made on the game's release. Many programmers would only consider the first option, as they would prefer to work on their own projects, with more control and share of profits!

Also, i would recommend that, if you are serious about this project, you shouldn't publicly disclose specifics. Bearing the points raised above, a budding programmer could just use your idea and develop the game himself, thus keeping the money and possibly ruining your project!

You're right Cheeseman, many under-18s would consider such a project. The reason I mentioned it was so that he could bear it in mind when discussing the project with others. However, my second point is still very valid: He SHOULD try and keep certain specific details to himself, unless talking to interested coders/artists/etc. There are plenty of unimaginative coders, ready to steal ideas and present them as their own.

BTW My calling Chriva an idiot isn't based on this post, it's based on ALL his posts, this was just another irritation. He's posted a record amount of messages within 2 months, but very few are actually pleasant, helpful, grateful for advice, etc. I talk to & offer advice wheneva i can to people (including Chriva when he 1st came here... who then called us all Jackasses), but never get annoyed by anyone else. Check his posts yourself or look at the thread started by people (not me) who are madly irritated by him. If anyone else had posted that message, i would've laughed... but Chriva is very different.

Don't be so gloomy about sales T1
