installing ms embedded visual tools

Hi, ive been trying to run the setup for this program after downloading it but I get hung up everytime it asks me for the product number. Is the product number the same thing as the cd key that MS gives you before you download? If so, why doesnt it work for me :(
any ideas?

Either way, I never installed it on anything other than XP or 2K so I don't know what the results would be.
Could be that your OS is fragged and you need a clean start.

actually the code is already seperated into 5 textboxes of 5 characters each (or whatever it is). Anyway, I can only type the code in and nothing else so im pretty sure there is no rogue spaces or anything.

hmm just had one of those episodes where you take your "broken" car to the mechanic and it runs perfectly. I showed my brother where I got stuck and it installed perfectly
