Sound library

I'm developing a game right now using GAPITools (which is cool, if you haven't looked at it yet). I haven't even begun to look at how I'm going to be doing sound yet, so I was wondering if there are any sound libraries out there for the PocketPC that function the way GAPITools does for graphics.

It's pretty easy to just throw a wave file out the speaker, but doing more complicated stuff gets much harder. How do I play background music, mix two sounds at once, etc? That's what I'm wondering, and that's why I'm looking for a library that's already tackled these problems.

I've never actually used it, but I've heard that Fmod is pretty good ()

I don't know the url offhand, but there is also the free, open source counterpart to FMod, MikMod. It's included in Phantom's EasyCE library.

I didn't look for it too hard, but i never found a homepage for the PPC mikmod port when i was looking for some further info, a little while ago. If anyone has stumbled on it, i'd be very interested.

Here's another lib: http://www.pocket-g.com/Products/pgsnd/
Looks like it has three licenses. Free is limited to 4 sound channels, devel license limited to 8 channels, and commercial ($99) unlimited.

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
