Purchasing a New PPC, Help!

I’m looking at purchasing a new device, I’ve an E125, but need to move to ARM, and 2002, in my eyes there are two choices an E200, or an ipaq.

This device will be my primary unit, used for developing games, so having a unit with an ARM processor is important, I’ve been using EasyCE 1.6-2 etc.

I need to get a “physical” idea of how the game will truly perform on an ARM device.

What does everyone else have?

I’d like to stick to the Casio range, but is this going to restrict my testing / development?

Or does it make more sense to use what everyone else seems to be using?

Will an EasyCE written application for an ARM dprocessor run ok on both?, i.e if it looks / runs ok on a e200, is it safe-ish to assume all should be ok on an ipaq? Or vise-versa? (assuming the correct gapi / dll’s are installed)?

That’s not to say it will not be tested on the other units, but as you all probably are aware, we can’t afford one of each….

Another reason for the e200 is the CF slot, I’ve quite a few CF cards that seem a shame to “waste”, or I’d have to buy a sleeve…

Any ideas, pros / cons etc in this area would be great, thanks

iPaq by far the most popular

Nearly everyone who registers my game has an iPaq so my advice is to wait & buy the HP iPaq xscale device when it comes along. HP have a Jornada xScale but it may never make the shops as they have already decided to drop Jornada & re-badge iPaq as HP.

Of course Casio may jump in with a great xscale device & get back their lost crown?
