Good suggestion. The transcriber might be appending or prepending a return to the stroke. I'll suppress that and see if it solves the problem.

BTW, I got DEXplor a few months ago and it's become indispensible. Thanks.

I tried catching the VK_RETURN in PreTranslateMessage(). That effectively stops the Enter key if you have the Keyboard SIP up, but doesn't stop whatever the Transcriber is doing on a stroke.

Any other ideas?
