Descent for ARM based Pocket PCs

Hi all,

Quite a while ago I posted a version of Descent for E-115 and some other Casio devices. Since then I haven't really done much with it, but it rained a lot this weekend so I made an ARM version since I have an iPAQ since about 9 months. The current version should work on most ARM based Pocket PCs with 16-bit color displays.

If you have the required data files (from the full PC version of Descent 1.5) you can get the game running and play a bit. It's quite difficult since there are so few controls on Pocket PCs and that's the main reason I basically stopped working on the port.

More information and a download can be found here for those that are interested:

awesome!!!

However, there is one unused button (two if you count the action button), so you really should bind something to Quit... I don't think that having to reset your device is the best way of doing things :)

Nice job. No problems here. Just needs pen-look, and one or two onscreen buttons to accomedate for the wonerful 36xx button issue.

Hi,

I've finally had some time over to clean stuff up (just a little, but anyway).

So, here's the source if anyone wants to continue on this thing.
